Over the last 9 months I have been working on a place to store my 87 and donor car, a 85 RX7 and parts car. A 1980 X minus the body and my 1953 John Deere Ag Crawler. With 3 Acres of land, I set about drawing a barn, obtaining a permit and investing $25000 and my spare time to complete the following.

An old Scot's man that I worked with told me that we live to our space. He went on to say, If some one were to give you a 100,000 Square foot building at age 18 you would have it filled by the time you died.

Once the structure had passed inspections the sorting and filling the barn now took place. All the while I am trying not to put anything in the barn that I do not need nor want. Daunting.

So as you can see I am almost there, just a few struts to hang on the walls and a boot lid or two to go.

Now if your misses scolds you about the amount of X parts you have laying about, show her my efforts and the expense and she may just leave you be with what you have.

Superb work Tony. Well done. It makes us "can barely knock up a lean to at the side of the house" brigade very jealous and enviable of your multiple talents. Keep us posted,- ( the site wouldnt be the same without you) :D :D

Frosty have you heard, no more swinging a hammer. I used an Air Nailer.

What a time saver. Now if the rain had only let up when I built the dang barn. It rained constantly for 5 months. Then after the final inspection, not a drop for 2 months. Just my luck.
