Sign the petition to scrap tax on classic cars

Calling all classic car owners and drivers, can you please sign this petition about scrapping road tax on cars over 25 years old, also send the link to all of your friends, family, clients and anyone else who you can think of.

Most Classic vehicles are used for fair-weather low-mileage "fun and rally" purposes rather than everyday transport. Originally the Road Tax exemption was supposed to be after the vehicle was 25 years old, but this idea was quietly scrapped about 10 years ago. I'd like to see the cutoff date now moved forward 10 years.

but the next thing that they will do is not let 'free tax' cars on the road in rush hours, weekdays etc .. a bit of a double-edged sword I think. Government these days will never let 25 year old cars roam around tax free, not even having cat. converters etc...

The way things are going these days, I dont think it will be a matter of scrapping tax on 25 year old cars, But scrapping 25 year old cars altogether! The net is closing in on us so called 'Planet cookers'.
In ten years time can you actually see any 'Classics' being left on the road?
So run as rich as you can, foot to the floor, into the sunset...
Because your grandkids certainly won't be.
