MOT & Rain!

Had to take my GF for it's MOT in the worst of the rain today, i thought i'd get submerged under all the water! I'm a bit sad but i really don't like all that water sloshing around the metal work!!
She flew through again though, although my mate at the Honda dealership where i take her, said the brake lights weren't working when tested, seems i knocked the switch by the pedal, (one to remember pre MOT).

Another car lasts another 12 months well done

Mine has it's MOT tomorrow, fingures crossed everyone please

Quick tip.... MOT testers HATE rain....having a dozen cars dripping rainwater,oil,anti freeze and fuel over you all day makes you want to get the test over quicker,and back to your coffee...this message will self destruct in 20 secs.

Will hope for heavy rain on Monday mine goes in then for MOT, if its not raining may pull a sickie.

It failed, it failed *grrr*

Front lower ball joint has excessive play. What's worse is that the place I bought one of these from a couple of months ago NOW says that they can't get them anymore - it's a dealer only item (like FIAT will know what I'm on about) !

So where do I get a front track control arm from ? :shock:

Answer: from their other branch 5 miles down the road ! They guy there phoned QH and they still have them available so he's ordered me one.

amazing how often that happens with factors isn't it?

i remember having a blazing row with the local unipart factor years ago, they insisted they didnt do a particular part even though i gave them the part number off their own computer cataloque system. in the end phoned uniparts head office and got them to send it to the factor !
