Stowaways was created by Antony
I took two bags or garden waste to the tip this morning. It was raining so I had the roof on and I put the bags in the front luggage compartment.

Later in the day I went out again; it had stopped raining so I stowed the roof. When I got home I opened the front lid and found a snail crushed on top of the roof panel!

Further investigation revealed three more nestling among the ribs on the underside of the luggage compartment lid and another wandering around next to the battery.

I know X1/9s are prone to tin worm, but snails?

I had a whole family of snails living inside the alloys on mine - they had a draughty ride up from London on the back of the transporter :D
