Ok, no matter how hard I try i can't get any sort of image less than 6K as requested. Could the moderators consider increasing the allowed size as my old image was about 16K which seemed fine. No matter how hard I recompress/resize, i still can't get a useable image. Makes my car look like it's on crimewatch.... :(

Mark, e-mail it to me and I will have a try with my myriad of photo editors if you want.

My original picture was 647kb and got it down to 5.93kb. Still looks good.

dear warren

Thanx for your kind offer to resize. Really just wanted to check that 6K was the max - I'll recompress tonight! Just for the record (and everyone else I guess!) what size and jpeg quality works best (most of my images start out at about 4megs)! MWH

There's a challenge.

I had a shot of my car and my self, a great pic.

I reduced it to 1 pixel and it was still over 6K.

This challenge and frustration took the better part of 2 evenings.

The picture started over 4 megs and cannot be done.

I noticed that a few have posted pictures. How?

Is this a guarded secret?

Clue me it, Please?

TonyK.
