In "excellent" condition! A rant and warning

I have been looking for black leather seats for my Exy for a little while and saw on e-bay the ever popular "breaking car all parts available" ad.
I asked about seats and was told that yes they are leather and possibly the best thing about the car. I duly sent a cheque (for a reasonable amount), I had a land-line phone number what could go wrong? I am sure you've guessed. No longer a registered e-bay user, e-mails not answered and telephone always goes to answer phone. Two months later my seats did turn up! They are cracked, have tears and torn stitches. Ho-hum a lesson learned always ask to be e-mailed photos and if they will not and you cannot get to see the item then stay clear. Sorry this is long but I am bitter and twisted and should really know better.

Sorry to hear that Michael, it makes me sick, :x there's just too many cheating gits out there to take any chances!
