Tiff,
Ask on the XWeb forum, someone may be willing to ship to you. I'm considering getting some KYB struts from the US as they work out a lot cheaper... who said bulk buy? :D

Iain

Iain,
You can get KYB struts from Buypartsby....at lest they are listed on their website.I got a pair of Alfa struts a while ago for the 146,and they were excellent.Great service too!

I got my rear markers off US Ebay, but fronts seem harder to come by.Mad Matt is the guy,but he's struggling to find me a pair.

TIFF I COULD KISS YOU!! you have no idea how long I've spent looking for shockers. Alternative autos want £80 each for KYBs, these guys only want ~£40. Job done.

£25 membership fee well paid :D

Thanks again,

Iain

Are these KYB's a complete bolt on replacement i.e to fit do I need to put spring clamps on, remove the nuts & top mounts etc, fit KYB's and reassemble or is there pissing about welding spring perches etc?

I just phoned them and unfortunatly they are just the KYB inserts :( I have heard early shockers can be rebuilt and fitted with new inserts but not sure about later ones? Anyone?

Sorry Tiff but my earlier offer has now been retracted, that is unless you can find me a new door :P LOL

Rocking horse sh*t is in the drawer, below the unicorn horn, along from the hens teeth in my garage, but I seem to have misplaced the NOS Bertone door.... damn.

Inserts should be doable...better than saggy old shocks or unknown secondhand ones....no one said it'd be easy!!!

anyway there has to be someone with a load of old leaky 1300 struts somewhere...ideal to rebuild and lower the height at the same time

would there be enough interest for a KYB shockers bulk buy? I can get bolt on replacements for ~£30 each from the US...

Either that or direct from KYB if we can find a UK distributer?

Iain

Rate of duty on your parts is 4.5% + vat
asking for the freight to be pre-paid will also reduce your costs
