Speedo drive required. (gear box spigot thingy)

1500, 89 GF. Speedo cable snapped, no big problem, until I couldn't get a piece of the original cable out of the 'square' tube it slots into at the gearbox end.

I managed to extract the full speedo drive, but nothing will shift the broken off piece of sheared cable. its in there for life.

So that leaves me in desperate need of a speedo drive, (the metal rod with plastic helicoil gear on it, that you push the cable into at the gearbox.)

If anyone out there has a spare one, or a stripped gearbox / diff, please PM me, to negotiate !

I'm sure I have one,but try throwing yours in boiling water..may just be congealed grease thats holding it in....
