Smaller steering wheel was created by kevjos2000
Hi everybody. I am a new member and need some information. I'm fairly tall and fit ok into my exxie but can't remove my foot from the clutch very well as the steering is a little large. Are there any aftermarket 12" steering wheels that fit directly onto the boss or do I need a new boss to fit a Mountney or something similar?
Cheers
Kevin

Cheers! I have bought a boss on ebay and I am now bidding on steering wheels like mad! Don't know what to go for 10 or 12 inch. Or maybe compromise at 11"!

before you chsang the wheel.... have you adjusted upwards the one you have?
If you look under the column shroud you will see that by slackening off the bolts you have a crude form of rake adjustment!... make sure you tighten them again though..

I have not done this to my current car but i did manage to get a few extra cm's on my previous 1300 lido when I changed the brake master cylinder. I'm not sure but was the steering wheel smaller in the 1300's?
Cheers anyway.
