I wonder if the book your looking for is by Alfred Cosentino - the Faza X1/9 Strada 128 Race World Repair manual?

I have this book. It has various pictures of modied Fiats of the 60s 70s and 80s and the odd X1/9 but mostly pictures of engine strip downs. Doing a quick Google it seems to be not longer available. Sorry mine isnt not for sale.

There are two versions of this book one has more stories in it than the other and is about fifteen quid cheaper could ask David Thomas the guy who provides the club with the Haynes Manuals if he has got a copy he is located in Ledbury Worcs and will be at Autoitalia this coming weekend
