Does anyone have an old distributor I could have. I only actually need the drive and base to keep the oil pump drive in place. My new engine runs off a crank sensor but my engine builder has lost my old distributor. Thanks

The Haynes book shows a spindle holding the shaft in place when the original car had the distributor on the cam shaft. i wonder if you can still get them or have one made?

I have just been offered an old distributor so I can modify and use this. I was wondering what happened to the engines with the dizzy on the end of the cam, most of these engines are in the USA I think. Thanks for the information

As I have an old dizzy on the way, I'll use this (after machining and lightening it of course!)
Thanks for the information.
