Late 'Tron' wheel centre cap wanted

Hi,

I've just bought a very nice 86 VS with the 'Tron' wheels. Unfortunately one of the centre caps has come off (broken plastic clip) - if any members have one spare I would very much appreciate it if you could get in touch.

I will pay a fair price for one in good condition.

Thanks a lot.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationHi Warren

I have the same wheels and have been considering making copies with some kind of mould making exercise... I've found that 3d printing would not suit making them.

Anyway - these are the only ones I have seen on ebay over the last couple of years.

you just have to buy two wheels and tyres to get the centre caps...

Who needs 4th gear anyway...

Thanks for the reply Jeremy.

A guy here: xwebforums.org/archive/index.php?t-13574.html says he holds his caps in place with 3 dabs of silicon sealant...

I think I'll give this a try (maybe with some velcro strips too)!

The hub caps on my wheels have always been really solid even with a few tabs missing. I think this is because the wheels have been repainted and the thick paint helps them hold??? Sounds crazy but recently I got a replacement wheel and the same cap hardly fits at all. Unless it's a slightly different size?

I have resorted to electrical tape around the hole. i guess the silicone is more secure but a bit messy...
