I have a few used screens however I don't really fancy posting it so it will have to be collected. I'm based in North Kent if that's of interest!

My windscreen has just developed a crack starting at the bottom in the middle working up the screen :( . I'm puzzled as to how it happened as it hasn't been out of the garage. The only thing that might have caused it is jacking the car up (on the correct points) and the body twisting? It goes up and down on the jack a lot over a winters race preparation. The shell is virtually rust free but it is sitting on very firm springs. Any thoughts or is it just a coincidence and/or bad luck

Could it be the severe range of temperatures lately.
Last night it was minus 2 here and today it was 12 degrees!

My windscreen has started to delaminate, causing cloudy patch in corners. I thought it made sense to replace it while the car was in for some fairly major work.

I called Pilkington after seeing their advert in Practical Classics - £272 .... plus VAT.

On reflection I decided it made sense not to replace it.

The screen in my X is cloudy around the edges too and has a big stone chip - but hey its original!

I will replace it some time in the future...

Who needs 4th gear anyway...
