Hi, just bought a 82 x19 and it only broke down twice on the way home!!!
my mech says the dizzy was ditched in favour of a coil but its getting scalding hot so not starting when warm -hot.... Have changed the coil but same problem persists...
thinking of swapping back to dizzy... anyone know where i can get one or if any other cars use the same spec as the 1.5 in the x19
regards
in advance
(oh and i need a wheel centre cap, >>> the list of bits needed has begun!)

I'm not sure what you mean by 'ditching the dizzy for a coil' as unless you go for rather sophisticated ignition system you will still have a dizzy, if not the coil. If it's the coil that getting scalding hot it may be that the wrong sort of coil has been fitted which will heat up and can cause ignition problems. A standard X19 system has a seperate ballast resistor and so the coil should be of the non ballasted type. However the ballast resistor can be bypassed and then a ballasted coil needs to be fitted. Beware that it has been know that the ballast to have been bypassed but left in place by an idle s*d to confuse the unwary - yes it happend to me
