WHITE SEAT BASE

Hi,

After 10 years of owning my X19 It is nearing the end of restoration :)
Whilst the car is being painted i started cleaning all the trim etc to go back into the car and found that one of the seats base has been eaten by something

Does any one have a white/cream leatherette seat (or just the base) with the brown material on the back rest or is it going to be easier to look for a quote to have new base covers made????
If so how much would a trimmer charge to recover the seats?

Thanks,
Jon

Should have guessed from your name Jon! I'm in Northampton, which is a bit of a trek I'm afraid. I'll get the seats out in the morning, make sure they are in decent condition and get you some photos. They are cream vinyl with brown material up the side bolsters.

Hi Jon, sorry I've been busy with other things. I dug the seats out of the shed today; they are pretty dirty and the frames are rusty but saveable. At least the cushions haven't been eaten. You are welcome to have them if you wish.

Hi,

They look like they will clean up ok and i should be able to make one good seat up to match my 1?

The only problem i have is i am going to hospital on Wednseday for an operation and will be out of action for a while :(
Are you OK to keep them for a few weeks until I am Able to travel up to collect?

thanks,
Jon
