Roof rests/plates was created by Tom L
Hello all,
I'm looking to get hold of 2 replacement roof rests/plates, where the "feet" of the roof slot in in at the rear. Mine have lost their shine and look a bit grubby on show with the roof off.
Does anyone have any sources for these?
Thanks very much,
Tom

These do come up on Ebay now and then... or try the usual advertisers in the club magazine.
However might be worth trying to have a go at polishing your existing ones if there is nothing else wrong with them? as if you bought a replacement set they probably would be quite tarnished too, the finish of these is not the greatest - all the ones I've seen have been quite tarnished/pitted....

Ah thanks very much. I had a browse on ebay and couldn't find any. Do they have a proper/more technical name?
I'll have a go at polishing them, I'm away from home at the moment and can't really remember exactly what condition they're in!
Cheers for the advice,
Tom.
