I am looking for camshaft shims.
I need several around 3.50 mm.
I will specify exact requirments later in week.

Does anyone out there have a selection, new or used?

Thanks

I have quite a selection of shims but most too big so some sort of a swap would be appropriate. I will make a list of what I have vs what I need.

I am just fine tuning the clearances used on the cam for 2008 season.
Manufacturer advises that particular grind is very sensitive to clearances. A number of valves ar about 0.05 out.

Race season starts in march and engine is currently on garage floor!.
I need some quality garage time !!.

I also have issue with Flywheel. Flywheel & clutch get very hard abuse with high rev standing starts. I have a lightened PBS sourced flywheel unit but is showing signs of surface cracks on friction surface.
How worried should I be?.
Any informed opinion welcome.

Cheers

Sounds good, I have a selection too,but most are too small!

As for the flywheel cracks, depends really on how deep they go,if they are just hairline and surface,I'd reckon you'd be OK-any more and I'd be changing it.Know anyone with access to X-Ray equipment?!!

My shim issue is now sorted.

If anybody is in need of shims though I now have an even bigger collection so may be able to help.
