Stripping out my X1/9 - many parts for sale!

I am seriously considering stripping out my 1988 SE X1/9 to make it into a true trackday and fast road weapon.

The parts I intend to remove to save weight and also to use to raise finances to purchase lightweight go-faster goodies are:

Pristine black leather interior - £300

Black carpet - bought NOS a couple of years ago at great expense - £100

Set of 4 nearly new shocks/springs and top mounts - £200

Set of 5 VGC Gran Finale multispoke alloys - £125 (tyres are scrap tho')

Genuine FAZA Abarth snorkel (does need a bit of touch-up work to the fibreglass) - £150

Most of the other interior bits of trim will probably be available at some point too.

Also I have 2 x perfect Mica Blue doors c/w electric window motors, side trims etc - I would swop these for a pair of perfect early doors with manual winders, colour irrelevant.

Mike - I'd rather do a straight swop for a pair of early doors without side-moulding holes and manual winders but should I be able to source a pair as opposed to doing a swop deal I'll get back to you...

John - yes I know I should keep the snorkel but its taking up far too much room in my cramped garage plus I could do with the cash!

Bumpity-Bump! All the parts are still available (plus lots of extras - just PM me and I might be able to sort you out!) as I've been so lazy with my stripping down project but now I've got some time off work I'm gonna get cracking on things....!
