I don't think this can be fitted to an X1/9?

If I remember correctly you can't fit a newer plate than the age of the car. However happy to stand corrected on that.

You’re totally correct Andy, X reg was year 2000 so a private plate of that reg can be fitted to any car year 2000 onwards, you cannot make a car look newer than it is. I know this to be 100% correct
