Generally these rust away. You can leave them off or you could fabricate a simplified version

Think I will just leave off.

I did see them on Midwest and thought the price was ok until I got to the shipping part !

I have fell lucky and found a couple of used ones on-line.

Will put a few layers on paint on them to make them last before I fit them.
