X1/9 1500 Engine

Good morning all,

I've just purchased my X1/9 and it came with all sorts of spares, one of which being the original 1500 engine (1988). It has about 115000miles I believe.

Condition wise I don't know! I believe it to be fine, it was removed by the previous owner in 2007 and ran then, it turns freely but I can't say I've got the equipment for a compression test.

It's located in Durham and would require collection. offers welcome as it's a bit of an unknown.
