Fiat X1-9 Owners Club Flag was created by David Mills
I was a member of this club between 1988 to 1993- my then Mother-In-Law Handmade this beautiful Flag after I mentioned that our Club didn't have one.
She spent many hours putting this together - The wife and I divorced, Ex Mother-In-Law died - The Flag sat in a bag in my loft ever since.
I have had this thoroughly cleaned several times.
On very close examination there is a very slight yellow discolouration in certain parts around the letters, but if you stand back you cannot see this at all.
Both sides of the Flag are exactly the same.
It is very well made as she was a seamstress for Johnsons the cleaners for many years.
The Flag Measurements are;
1 meter 15cm by 79.5cm
There are elasticated flagpole holes either side running up the entire width of the flag. The holes measure just over 5cm so this could be erected in a field where you have gathered for a club meeting.
The weight of the flag is 656g
I remember her asking for £90 at the time for the material and her time, I realise the Club has limited funding so I ask for your best offer.
The funds received will go to her surviving members of her family.
I do have many more pictures but I did struggle to get this one picture on.
If you would like to see the flag in person - then I live in South Liverpool - Please contact me for further details.

Clearly a talented lady
There will be a few of us committee members at the National this weekend, so we'll have a discussion and get back to you asap, if that's ok?
Cheers
Juliet

Yes that would be very good !
If you want further pictures of the flag (close ups etc, to show the committee then if you could give me your E mail address and I can send them to you !)
