Uno Turbo Engine

bought it as a spare but don't seem to need it and want the space.

I also have the the ECUs, intercooler, oil cooler, some sensors and other bits and bobs. (might have the X1/9 cam carrier for the top engine mount but not 100% sure)

£50 the lot or will split if needed. really it's the engine block I want to clear.

If it runs and is all there to do a conversion I will have it. Ps how far from Scotland are you

Second in line please!

The Turbo, a wiring loom and maybe some other bits and pieces are missing.

I do have the inlet side pretty much available.

I have some other parts you will need but didn't list them as they need servicing or checking (eg injectors which are blocked but could be cleaned, exhaust manifold which has had a crack repaired but needs checking it is true and the repair is solid) That kind of thing.

What I have will probably get a conversion about 80-90% there. If you can get a turbo and wiring loom then I think that would pretty much do it.

And I am based in west london - so scotland while lovley is unfortunatley a long way away.

charlie - if you want to communicate publicly then fine.

You can't assume you have first dibs on something offered and be publicly upset that you didn't get it straight away.

also please don't get upset because I don't respond to a pm within 24 hours. I do have a life outside of this forum. Especially I am shocked that you did it in public rather than via pm. Is this how technical officers of the club behave?

I sent you a pm today to let you know I was responding to the people in the order that they expressed an interest. I believe to do anything else would be rude and ungentlemanly.

Your responses on the public forum have been, disapointing and not what I would expect from a representative of this club.

Alex, the reason i have went public with this, is that your communication skills have a lot to be desired. You picked up my Pm from your inbox last Thursday, this is now Tuesday, and even though I left you my number and informed you that I had someone willing to pick up the engine from your area, still no contact from yourself. What's your problem picking up the phone mate?

I could get wound up by your abrupt and demanding way of putting things but I will choose not to.

You have retracted your interest in my engine - fine.

I suggest we just leave it at that, it would be all to easy to discussing who said what and when, but lets not lower ourselves to that.
