I'm going to sell my X1/9 as I have had my Barchetta over a year now, and the poor X1/9 is degrading rapidly. I have had this car over 20 years, and have spent many thousands of pounds over the years. The main selling points would be the Guy Croft engine, built at a cost of over £4000!

I'm going to sell it as spares .. however, the car is not rotten, and would probably pass an MOT with some mechanical work (it has never failed one in it's life! last on the road 2008) .. It can be seen running. The paintwork is patchy, it really needs re-spraying.
However, for your £2000, these are the parts:
Guy Croft engine (original engine, uprated by Guy, forged pistons etc)
Alquati inlet m/f (bought new by me)
2 x 40DCNF (bought new by me)
facet fuel pump
oil cooler
recent rebuilt gearbox
comp clutch (new, not fitted)
3 branch ex manifold
aluminium radiator (cost me about £400 to have made)
Lumention ignition(bought new by me)
Lumenition rev limiter(bought new by me)
racetech capillary oil pressure / temp / water temp gauges
LEDA adjustable suspension(bought new by me)
MOMO steering wheel and boss
4x excellent yokohama tyres
black leather seats (small tear in drivers side)
perfect black leather door cards
uno turbo brakes
s/s braided brake hoses
and everything else that holds it all together ..

the car was featuread in retro cars a few years back! I have more receipts than is reasonable
This would make a fantastic restoration project, and now deserves a newer more enthusiastic owner.

Any questions etc etc johnv@fourmasters.net

as I said, £2000, look on it as parts, and that's a fantastic deal!

Hi,

That is an impressive list of parts. From what I can tell from your post your are selling most of the parts still fitted to the car?

If thats the case then I'm sure people will next be asking.. what the original car is? age, mileage, color etc.

Good luck with your sale! 8)
