nicholas tweddell wrote: I did have a look at Geoffrey's car. It is tidy and very well taken care of. He has had the car from new. The engine bay is clean the interior very tidy The body work is immaculate and no evidence of any rust albeit subject to closer/ and underside inspection. The windows are a bit stiff and need either lubrication or a little attention The car has done almost 65,000 miles Unfortunately the price is well above my budget
Best.
Nick
Just out of interest, what made you view the car if you knew it was out of your price range?

If you are wanting to purchase a car, it's always a good idea to look around a few even if it is out of your price range. Geoffrey's is obviously an excellent example and well worth a look at to get an idea of what a good example is like.
Where are you based Nicholas?

I get your point but as a seller I wouldn’t be too impressed.

As you will see above I did e mail Geoffrey and request if I could come and see his car.
You will also note that at that time he had not specified a price.
Regards
Nick
