I guess he wants to get rid of the whole car?

(I would like the seats .. only!)

The gear lever isn't cut down... you could use it as a gauge to check whether or not yours has been.... !

That gear knob isn't so early.... it was fitted certainly as late as 85... my guess is it's later... the door lights are fixed... not clicking ones like those up to 84.... I think that's a light switch on the centre console... that didn't happen till 85. The loud speakers are fitted high and there is no manual window winder hole so the electric windows are the later style... which makes it at least 86.

Well done Sherlock, your skills are only matched by maybe Moriate or maybe the fact that the car registration mark is C :D .
Didn’t know they fitted that type of Knob to late cars, I thought that was a seventies Fiat knob (or maybe that’s just a good description of me  )

Would hate to have the tin worm that lives in that car though, it must be huge

THE WHEELS ARE OF A STANDERED NOT A VS, ALSO THE GEAR LEVER DOES NOT LOOK LIKE IT HAS BEEN CUT DOWN, THE DOOR CARDS AND SEATS LOOK IN GOOD NICK, SUCH A PITY ABOUT THE BODY.

They are the VS 50p wheels, and that looks like a 1300 gearknob,-they don't fit over the gearshaft, unless they have been drilled out, the threaded part is smaller than the shaft itself,so i'd say its standard length..

The wheels are standard for a VS of this period... The gear knob also... same as mine which is also a C (85) However the electric windows are later than mine... mine were the old type motors till I changed them... this one has new ones so if it is a C plate, then it's a late one or mine is an early one... my old B had different door lights... they were press-the-lens ones... no centre consol switch.

The gear Knob looks the same as mine, i got it from an early 131 and it fits without any drilling and cutting, all though my cars an early VS was built by bertone and seems to be a combination of 1300 and 1500 parts,
i thought all later x1/9s had the gear knob designed for the ladies????

How about this half eaten car for a hot bed topic and disagreement

Bring it on lets rumble......................
