I bought some new seat belts in grey
I put white leather over the trim in the arm rest that was looking a bit flaky
I have now got the heated seats wired up and bought some leather covers for the belt keeps and the visors
Took out the dash as the needles where a bit faded I decided on painting the smaller ones white and the speedo and tach in red
All done now I know some traditionalists might frown at some of the things I have done but I like it!

I was very lucky I bought the car unseen and without a doubt it must be one of the best 1300's out there body wise and being a Lido was another bonus. I have just been out now in it the sound proofing I put in before the carpets etc has made a tinny door shutting rattly driving sports car into a quiet plush saloon! The difference is night and day yes the car still has wind noise from around the roof where it meets the doors/windows but that is the nature of the beast so to speak which can never be rectified. I have thrown it into a few roundabouts and the thing is just glued to the road it is amazing what a good set of tyres can do but anyone that has done a few track days will know that.
