OK chaps, time to do the roll call for Auto Italia Summertime Classics.

I am coming from Huddersfield and aiming to get there as near to 9 as possible along with all the bunting and banners for our stand.
Rob W is hoping to come too, who else???

I am planning to attend as its only 45mins away. Is the idea to have a certain number of cars on the stand and if so are you still looking for likley candidates?

I may come along - I'm a couple of hours away, is it worth the trip?

I go to this one nearly every year weather permitting as its fairly local to me in Coventry and the venue is lovely... (even Mrs Nello does not mind attending a car-doo because its such a nice place and grounds!) Very much like a National Trust property by a river. The event grew many years ago out of the Alfa Romeo Owners Club concours into what was until last year the Auto Italia Day. This year it has changed slightly as its now called Summertime Classics and is open to all manufacturers regardles of country. I did ask Phil Ward - Auto Italia founder/editor on their FB page why it had changed and he stated it was to do with the event needing to evolve and diversify...although it seems to be that they are more likely to keep their events around London - they have stopped the Gaydon event as well due to apparent costs.
So yes highly reccomended day out - as mentioned if the weathers bad I may go in my Coupe LE - also if my two lads want to go (three into 2-seats doesn't go!) - and if the wifes going too that'll be £32 just to walk in to the place which seems a bit pricey but I've not done many events yet this year so............. See you all there anyway - I'll be over to say Hello even if I do take the Coupe....

I've only been once, 3 years ago, it's a fab day.

I've finally got my car back on the road, so I'll be there. It sounds like the event has grown since I last went, and it was pretty big even then!

Should be a great day out for Italian machinery!

Classic cars are situated either side of the entrance driveway and then on the grass off to the left. Fiat are to the left of the Hall so I'm guessing we will be up near them somewhere.
