Gearbox needed

Hi does anyone have a sensibly priced 1500 gearbox with no synchro or reverse issues for sale? Thanks

Hi, I have a couple of gearboxes, one is unknown the other can from my sister in laws car which when removed was fine.

Hi I am in gloucestershire. Do all gears inc reverse work and are syncros okay. I could arrange a courier if all OK. What sort of price though?

the box from my Sister in laws car was to the best of my knowledge fine except for some reason it seemed noisy in reverse. But to me they were all noisy. The other came out of a running car but I cannot remember its condition.
I am thinking about £50.00.

Hi Mark, I am in Chester. Yes it worked fine, but I will check the box if you are serious.

How would you check the box?

Just out of interest how much would you want for both boxes?

You can have them both for £75.00.......would you like an engine as well

I would make sure it selected all gears, check for play and smoothness of the input and output shafts. That's about all I can do.

Hi Philip, that is a great offer, but, I have spoken to the mechanic this morning, yes I can ring him on a Sunday, and he has agreed with the local recon place that if they recon my existing box that the guarantee will include that they will be responsible for removing and fixing it with no cost to me if there is an issue with it. I'm afraid that offer is really good too, so I am going to go with that.
